Product Description Instant Heat Jumbo&Super Rolle
Amazon.com Review For big, bodacious curls in record time, look no further than this set of Instant Heat jumbo rollers from Conair. A dozen 1-1/2-inch diameter rollers heat up in just two minutes, so you don't have to start plotting three days in advance to get your curls in progress. Twelve pins are included to hold the rollers in place. This is a modernized version of the roller sets of yesteryear: it's compact, lightweight, and efficient, and the velvety covering on the rollers helps protect your hair from heat damage. Who knew you could get so much glamour in so little time? --Erin Brown

Beautiful bouncy waves for long hair February 2, 2007 R. Miller (Portland, OR) 81 out of 81 found this review helpful
I have tried several different sets of hot rollers recently, and I love these ones.
Reason #1: they have a velvety covering on the roll, which helps hold the hair in place while you're rolling it up. Some brands have a slick surface on the roller, and my hair slides right off.
Reason #2: they heat up fast. No waiting around for 10-15 minutes for the rollers to get hot. They heat up in just a few minutes and are plenty hot enough to get the job done. I tried one brand that said it heats up in 90 seconds. Maybe, but they were barely warm enough to create a curl.
Reason #3: plenty of curlers, all one size (large!). Other brands have at least 4 very small curlers that I never use. This set is perfect for someone with long hair and no bangs, therefore not needing the small curlers.
Reason #4: the pins are easy to use and don't leave marks in my hair like some brand's clips do.
I get lots of compliments on my hair when I use these curlers. I really love this set and I'm so glad I bought it!
Excellent for creating volume in hair February 23, 2004 Joanna Daneman (Middletown, DE USA) 135 out of 142 found this review helpful
I have baby-fine hair, though plenty of it. If I don't want it to be slack and flat, I have to set it. So I tried this set of curlers, wanting the large size for volume, not for fluffy curls (no mall-hair, thanks!)This curler set is a bit large (note, for travel, you'd be better off with a small travel set or curling iron.) It has 12 LARGE roller, lined with a velvet-flocked material. Each is slit to fit over the rails of the heater. They heat in about 2 minutes. Then you roll the hair, fit a wire clip over the roller and leave in for 5-20 minutes. (Some hairdressers claim you get a better, long-lasting effect by leaving them in for a long time.) The slot down the length of the roller makes it hard to put in the clips because the clip wants to go into the slot instead of around the roller. To avoid this, you can push the clip on top of the roller (rather than under, where it belongs) and then ROTATE the clip into position. This avoids catching the clip into the slot, which is plenty annoying. Once you get the hang of this maneuver, it's pretty quick to set your hair.
Great Curl November 13, 2002 K. Smith (Newport News, VA USA) 58 out of 59 found this review helpful
I love these curlers. I have long hair. The larger curler is great. I like having all the same size curlers. I never used the little ones in other sets. These heat up fast and curl great. The velvety covering really helps protect the hair. I like the pins that come with this set. I had another set with the hinge clips and they left funny little dents in my curl. These work much better!
had trouble at first but then watched this August 8, 2008 J. Cimenski (philly, pa) 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
I bought this product tonight and just used the hot rollers. They were ready to go in about 3 minutes. I have never used hot rollers before so it was somewhat of a disaster... I tried to start from the bottom and work up... don't ask why. I seriously had no idea what i was doing. But in the end when I took them out i had much more volume than usual and some wave. I was really happy just with that. My hair is really flat and thin and I hate it.
So naturally I went looking around on the internet trying to figure out how to use these rollers and found this video on youtube.

I can't wait to try again tomorrow! Since I have seen so many posts about people not knowing how to use the wire clips, I thought I would share :)
Happy rolling!
Thought they were good for a while March 28, 2008 My Old KY Home (Texas) 39 out of 41 found this review helpful
When I first got these this summer I thougt they were nice. They heat up quickly and I didn't mind the split down the middle. Then some of the rollers I have dropped on the floor did not seem to fit smoothly into the slot they heat up in and and the stress of pushing them in and pulling them out started to cause the rollers to break apart.
Just this week the back row of rollers stopped heating up and the front row does not seem to have temperature control. The front row got so hot the silver plastic started to melt!!!!
I'm disappointed because I did like them.
