There are 4 brushes in this set. I love them all. The mineral powder brush and the mini kabuki brush are perfect for flawless application of powdered mineral makeup. I have used both the shadow and concealer brushes to apply eye shadow. They work great too. These brushes are very soft and luxurious feeling. And they are very well constructed. I've experienced no shedding.
I own a lot of makeup brushes including some very high end professional quality brushes. These brushes have not disappointed. They are so much better than the brushes that are sold by Bare Minerals.

I just used these brushes for the first time with my mineral makeup after using sable brushes from BE for years. (Just found out what sable is and it is not ok...) They are amazing, so soft, I didn't want to stop putting my makeup on, they felt so good! Love them, I will recommned them to all my friends and family!

I bought these brushes because my Bare Minerals kabuki brush fell apart and I needed a new one. This kabuki brush is a bit smaller than the Bare Minerals brush, but is so much softer and higher quality. I have had these for about a month and am very pleased. They are very well made and seem like they are going to last. I would highly recommend purchasing these brushes. If you are thinking about it, buy them.

This item comes with four brushes: a baby kabuki, an eye shading, a mineral powder and concealer brush. They are relatively small... all the brushes, minus the baby kabuki one, are about four and three-quarters inches long. The baby kabuki brush is only about three inches long. I find that I like the compact-size of these brushes, and it suits my needs, but the size is probably not for everyone.
The metal is made from recycled aluminum, the cosmetic bag is made from natural cotton (45%) and hemp (55% hemp linen). This product is unfortunately made in China... I only say unfortunately on my part, because I really try to go out of my way now to support products that are made in the US.
Overall, I think these brushes are great! They are very soft, and if anyone has had a cheaply made brush you know that they will prickle your skin and the bristles will even shed onto your just made-up face. So far I haven't had the shedding problem, and all four brushes have not given me any pokes!
I did however not buy this online. I went to a local Walgreens (first went to a CVS, but they didn't carry this brand), and was able to purchases it for 11.99 + tax. So I would just keep that in mind, if you're not willing to wait/pay shipping and handling and an extra buck for this item.
EDIT:
I thought I should also add that I use a different pouch than the one provided. To me, it is a bit too cramped to fit all the brushes in comfortably, without "ruffling" the bristles.

I'm an Amazon shopper normally. I was researching brushes that don't shed, are very soft and eco-friendly and these came up as an affordable option as I could not spend the money for the more expensive brushes. I ran to Target since they were only 9.99 for the set. I was amazed at how soft they are and love the packaging. I also want to get the big retractable brush for 7.99 at Target next time. I use the kabuki for foundation and the brush for blush but wanted to use it for the veil. I wish they had a separate brush for minerals blush or veil use. Great product for a great price...thanks!
